Kids First Community (“we,” “us,” or “our”) provides schools with custom student folders at no cost to the schools. Local businesses and community organizations support the program by purchasing advertising on those folders. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and how we handle text messaging.
Information We Collect
We may collect information that you provide when you contact us, inquire about advertising, purchase an advertisement, submit artwork, or communicate with our team. This may include your name, business or organization name, job title, email address, phone number, mailing address, advertising details, artwork and logos, and the contents of your communications with us.
If you visit our website, we may also receive basic technical information, such as your IP address, browser type, and information about how you use the site, through website logs or any tools used to operate the site.
How We Use Information
We use information to respond to inquiries; discuss advertising opportunities; prepare and manage orders; coordinate artwork, proofs, and approvals; provide updates about school-folder projects; communicate about renewals; maintain customer records; operate and improve our website and services; and meet applicable business and legal obligations.
Payments
When you pay for advertising by credit card, payment information is used to process your transaction and maintain related billing records. Credit card payments are handled by our payment-processing provider. Kids First Community does not store complete credit card numbers or card security codes. We may retain transaction details, such as the amount, date, payment status, and the last four digits of a card, for accounting and customer service.
SMS and MMS Communications
If you agree to receive text messages from Kids First Community, we may send you SMS or MMS messages about your advertising inquiry or account. These may include replies from a sales representative, renewal discussions, requests for information or artwork, proofs, order and project updates, and automated notices such as confirmation that artwork was received. MMS messages may contain images, logos, or advertising proofs.
Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out of text messages or HELP for assistance. You may also contact us using the details below. Opting out of texts does not prevent us from contacting you through another appropriate method about an existing order or inquiry.
We use mobile numbers and messaging consent only for communications connected to Kids First Community. We do not sell or share mobile phone numbers, SMS/MMS opt-in information, or messaging consent with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging consent is specific to Kids First Community and is not transferred to another business.
When We Share Information
We do not sell personal information. We may provide information to service providers that help us operate our business, such as website, customer-management, payment, printing, or messaging providers, solely so they can perform services for us. We may also disclose information when required by law or to protect our rights and the security of our services. Service providers are not authorized to use mobile opt-in information for their own marketing or promotional purposes.
Information you approve for publication in a school-folder advertisement, such as your business name, logo, phone number, website, or ad copy, will appear in the finished advertising materials.
Security and Retention
We take reasonable steps to protect the information we hold. We keep information for as long as needed to manage inquiries and customer relationships, fulfill orders, maintain business records, and meet legal obligations. No method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure.
